Field Of Research:

Microbiology

Research Interest:

Bacterial pathogens like Vibrio cholerae and Streptococcus pneumoniae interact with the human host in complex ways, an understanding of which would facilitate combating these infectious agents. A combination of novel genetic and microbiological approaches is being used to identify and analyze genes and gene products expressed by these pathogens during the infectious process.
