Central Valley Nursing Workforce Diversity Initiative Evaluation

The Central Valley Nursing Diversity Work Force Initiative is funded by The California Endowment, and is based on The California Endowment's belief that investing in a work force that is more reflective of California's diverse population will improve access to affordable, quality health care for underserved populations and promotes fundamental
improvements in health status. The University of California, San Francisco, was selected to evaluate the effectiveness of the interventions supported by the Initiative. The project started in 2001 and will continue through 2007.
