ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AND APPLICATION MATERIAL

Media and Public Policy Training

This training is OPEN to any biomedical science researcher or clinician meeting the following criteria:

  • Employed at a nonprofit research or academic institution
  • Tenure track or equivalent position for at least three years, or, a higher position
  • Demonstrated interest in or need for media and public policy training

Selection Considerations:

  • Record of noteworthy scientific achievement
  • Potential relevance and value of training; a clear need for this training given applicant's position or desire to create positive change
  • Applicability to current dilemmas and challenges; a vision of how the training will be used for an express purpose and results
  • Previous experience and related training opportunities
  • Balance of gender, scientific specialty, institutional affiliation, positions
